Your files never leave your browser.

When you convert a file on convert.rocks, everything happens right here — on your device. Your photos, documents, and images are never uploaded to any server. Not ours, not anyone's.

🔒 Your files stay on this device
How It Works
1
You pick a file

Your file stays on your device — it's not sent anywhere

2
Your browser does the work

The conversion happens inside your browser, like a calculator

3
You download the result

Straight from your browser's memory to your device

No server is involved at any step. No upload queue. No "we delete your files after 24 hours" — because we never had them.

Don't Trust Us — Check Yourself
The simplest test: go offline

If the converter works without internet, no server is involved. Try it:

  1. Turn off Wi-Fi or enable airplane mode
  2. Go to any converter page
  3. Convert a file
  4. It works. No internet needed — because your files never leave your browser.
For the technically curious: check Network tab

Every browser has a built-in tool that shows all data being sent and received. You can verify this yourself or use our live monitor below:

  1. Press F12 (or Cmd+Option+I on Mac) to open Developer Tools
  2. Click the Network tab at the top
  3. Convert any file on our site
  4. You'll see the page's own scripts (JS, CSS) but no requests containing your file. Your file never appears in this list.
Or use our live network monitor right here

This monitor uses the PerformanceObserver API — a web standard built into all modern browsers — to show every network request in real time. We cannot fake this data.
