Your files never leave your browser.
When you convert a file on convert.rocks, everything happens right here — on your device. Your photos, documents, and images are never uploaded to any server. Not ours, not anyone's.
🔒
Your files stay on this device
How It Works
1
You pick a file
Your file stays on your device — it's not sent anywhere
→
2
Your browser does the work
The conversion happens inside your browser, like a calculator
→
3
You download the result
Straight from your browser's memory to your device
No server is involved at any step. No upload queue. No "we delete your files after 24 hours" — because we never had them.
Don't Trust Us — Check Yourself
The simplest test: go offline
If the converter works without internet, no server is involved. Try it:
- Turn off Wi-Fi or enable airplane mode
- Go to any converter page
- Convert a file
- It works. No internet needed — because your files never leave your browser.
For the technically curious: check Network tab
Every browser has a built-in tool that shows all data being sent and received. You can verify this yourself or use our live monitor below:
- Press F12 (or Cmd+Option+I on Mac) to open Developer Tools
- Click the Network tab at the top
- Convert any file on our site
- You'll see the page's own scripts (JS, CSS) but no requests containing your file. Your file never appears in this list.
